Policies that address the issues identified by people from Hindmarsh Ward
Planning that reflects the residents’ priorities and as an elected representative, be available and responsive, and communicate regularly and clearly about our local issues.
This must begin by addressing the planning laws that promote a ‘fortress’ mentality’ that isolates us from our neighbours and crushes safe, fulfilling community lifestyles, advocating for local comment, including long-term residents who effectively have little say in any proposed development in their own streets. For many I’ve spoken to, this starts with more trees, and greener streets(planning changes required)
